I envision myself doing a variety of tactics, 1. SO where have you guys handed out flyers? So while I am in the preparation phase I want to hear field studies, so I can keep these in mind.
All these variables will fall into place come friday, so my goal is to capture as much insight before then. Now because I ask this it's not because I am a skeptic to the idea (as a matter of fact im itching to go out and get these flyers out there) there are just variables, I need to have access to a printer (which I will tomorrow) I need to make sure I have money for gas because the capitol of IL is 25 miles from me and I want to promote there. The logic is not an issue, logic can be universal, you an I can see eye to eye on how a campaign works, but our personal experiences might be different. Ok good answer, personally (if you don't want to get personal thats fine) where have you placed your flyers? I have read ebooks from kenster, and I have a pretty broad prospective how I should be getting these flyers out there, ex bulletin boards at the supermarket, another lucrative spot is on college campuses, as well as businesses. Make sure you are choosing an offer to match the market as best as possible - this can make or break your campaign!
I can tell you that basic tear-off flyers on bright yellow paper has worked well. If you want to be certain, you can split test different flyer designs changing the wording, layout, color schemes, etc. It largely depends on your target audience and where you're posting them. Black & White flyers certainly do convert! In fact often times they convert better than flashy/colored flyers.
